Grand Theft Auto V is a 2013 action game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. This is the first major entry in the Grand Theft Auto series since the release of the 2008 Grand Theft Auto IV. In the fictional state of San Andreas, based in southern California, a lone player witnessed the story of three criminals and their attempts to hide, under pressure from powerful government agents and criminals. The open world design allows players to move freely in the open countryside of San Andreas and the city of Sant Santos, based in Los Angeles.
The game is played in the perspective of a third person and a first person, and the world is traveled on foot or by vehicle. The player controls three main solo characters and swaps them during and outside the mission. This story focuses on complex sequences, and many missions include filmmaking and fun. The “fugitive” system regulates police attacks against players who commit crimes. Grand Theft Auto Online online game allows up to 30 players to participate in many cooperative and competitive game modes.
